理工類輔導資料：動詞不定式persevere

　　To persevere means victory！

　　堅持就是勝利！

　　To see once is better than to hear a hundred times.

　　百聞不如一見。

　　但在很多情況下，特別是在口語中，我們常常用代詞it來代替它作主語，而把它移到句子后部去，這樣使句子顯得比較平穩：

　　It is not an easy thing to master a language.

　　學好一種語言是不容易的。

　　It only took (us) a year to complete the project.

　　完成這項工程只花了（我們）一年時間。

　　如果要說明不定式表示的動作是誰做的，可以在不定式前加一個for引起的短語：

　　It is not hard for one to do a bit of good.

　　一個人做點好事并不難。

　　It will be a mistake for us not to help them.

　　我們不幫助他們是錯誤的。

　　（二）動詞不定式用來作定語

　　I want to get something to read during the vacation.

　　我想找點書假期看。

　　Do you have anything more to say?

　　你還有什么話要說嗎？

　　She was the first person to think of the idea.

　　她是第一個想到這個主意的。

　　There is nothing (for us) to worry about.

　　沒有什么值得發愁的。

　　（三）動詞不定式用來作賓語

　　Heofferedtohelpus.

　　他提出要幫助我們。

　　Ididnotthink(expect)tofindyouhere.

　　沒想到在這兒碰到你。

　　Ihopeyou‘lladvisemewhattodo.

　　我希望你給我出主意怎么辦好。
